
KATERINA SHEVELEVA - Pianist, Composer - Berlin, Moscow, Russia

Katerina Sheveleva is a pianist and composer from the tiny town Naryan-Mar beyond the Arctic Circle.
In her youth, she graduated from music school and became passionate about playing the piano. Katerina composes delicate and fragile pieces for piano, strings, voice, and electronics.
She began her artistic journey in Russia, performing at various venues such as Profsoyuz, Mendeleev, Spish festival at the Bashmet Center, ZIL Cultural Center Moscow, WIP Cultural Center, Goretovo Estate, Niko Nizhny Novgorod, and after her recent move to Berlin, at Watergate Club.
Katerina is a finalist in the competition for young composers “Academy of Sound” and also launched her creative project "Yoga and Piano."
Inspired by both the landscapes of her vast northern homeland and the cozy courtyards of Berlin, her bright, slightly melancholic compositions touch the soul without words and leave no one indifferent.
Today, Katerina continues to develop her unique style while studying Sound and Music for Visual Media at the Catalyst Institute in Berlin.
