Renato Luciano is a singer. A songwriter. A musician. An actor.

In 2009, Renato burst onto the theatrical scene with his involvement in the musical "Filhos do Brasil," crafted and directed by Oswaldo Montenegro. The subsequent year, he showcased his acting chops in the feature film "Leo e Bia," also a creation of Oswaldo Montenegro, where he shared the screen with Paloma Duarte.

By 2011, Renato's talent landed him a spot in the cast of the musical "Gonzagão – A Lenda," written and directed by João Falcão, marking the centenary of Luiz Gonzaga. Then, in 2014, he made a memorable debut at the Theatro Municipal do Rio de Janeiro in João Falcão's adaptation of the musical "Ópera do Malandro" (Chico Buarque and Ruy Guerra). During the rigorous rehearsals for these musicals, Renato co-founded the Barca dos Corações Partidos Company, where he collaborated with esteemed artists such as Fábio Enriquez, Rica Barros, Adrén Alves, Eduardo Rios, Alfredo Del-Penho, and Beto Lemos.

With the Barca dos Corações Partidos Company, Renato took the stage in 2016 with the electrifying production "Auê," featuring original compositions like "De toda cor," "Gerais," "Remédio," "Vamo batucá," and "Vida doida (Sem Tião)" (with Laila Garin). The mesmerizing soundtrack of the show, under the direction of Duda Maia, was later released on CD.

Renato's musical journey continued with the release of his EP "Pra dançar com a vassoura."

In 2017, Renato unveiled his album "De toda cor" under the prestigious Biscoito Fino label. The album's title track boasted contributions from an array of esteemed artists, including Emilio Dantas, Laila Garin, Léo Pinheiro, Moska, Ney Matogrosso, Pedro Luís, Oswaldo Montenegro, and Zeca Baleiro, with verses enriched by the poetry of Elisa Lucinda. The standout track earned a place in the soundtrack of the renowned TV Globo soap opera "A Força do Querer." That same year, Renato graced the stage in the musical "Suassuna – O auto do Reino do Sol," embodying a clown. The production garnered critical acclaim, earning the prestigious "Cesgranrio Award" for "Best Show" the following year.
